2007 EGO

When Planet Eclipse  introduced the 2007 Ego in October 2006,  Dye Matrix had to be thinking – oh my god what are we going to do to compete with this?  The gun retailed for $1250 and Eclipse could not supply enough of them to the market.  Everyone had to have one!

The gun marks a significant platform change for Eclipse (06 model vs. 07 model).  All Eclipse fans felt the need to trade in their old gun and upgrade to the latest and greatest marker.  Eventually players starting dropping their alliances with companies like Dye Matrix because they had to be part of the hottest gun on the planet.  

Even today 07 Egos are one of the best selling used paintball guns on the market (can be found at www.trademygun.com). However, like all guns there are pros and cons.  Based on our experience of playing with, teching, selling and trading 2007 Planet Eclipse EGOS we have the following review to offer:
